The Tennis Backhand
The backhand is a stroke that begins on your left side (if you’re right handed), with your body’s right side towards the net, continues forward until you hit the ball and ends up on your right side.
Backhand grip: Most players use a one-handed backhand grip, but many players in the 70’s and 80’s used the two-handed grip (such as Björn Borg, Jimmy Connors and Chris Evert). The one handed grip is considered to be a bit more difficult to control than the two-hander, but the players who can master has generally a faster pace in their game.
