The Tennis Serve
The serve is the stroke that starts the point. The player stands behind the baseline and serves overhead into the ”service box” on the other side of the net. (It is not allowed to do a underhand serve). The player have two attempts to place the ball in the correct ”service box” to continue the game.
If a serve touches the net and lands inside the ”service box”, the player gets another attempt. If the ball should touch the net and land outside the box, the serve counts as a missed serve.
The fastest serve that's been recorded is by the American Andy Roddick at 155 mph (249 km/h)
